Happiness Pill

What is happiness? What is it really?
Is it the money we earn? Is it the achievement of our goals?
Is it the popularity we get? Is it the possessions we gain?
Is this what we really want in life?

Is there any emptiness inside?
Do we want one that truly lasts?

What can truly make us happy?

It's alright to seek these good things in life. But it shouldn't be the end goal.
There's a happiness that goes beyond them.

True happiness is about knowing the things that matter most and having the chance to value them every single day.

What do you have at the moment?
A roof under your head? Clothes to wear on? Food to keep you up each day?
Or someone to talk to when you need anything?
If you have all of these, then you're already rich enough. You have all you need to keep up with life.

Sometimes, we need to step back and see the little things we actually appreciate.
It's the things we really need where we can be satisfied.

Life can be tough to be able to see these things. We're busy fighting, surviving, and trying to make it through each day. But how are we in this?
Do we take life one day at a time? Do we check ourselves to see how we're doing?

How are we in the life course we're given?
How do we take the challenges that come our way?
How do we see everything? Do we keep looking for the bright side despite the hardship?
Do we find ourselves getting new strength day by day?

Do we see ourselves selfless every time?
Do we wish well for others even though they don't treat us well?
Do we continue to be kind? Do we continue to be generous?
Do we continue to help without expecting anything?

When we find ourselves in the happiness that matters, then we can be free. It's finding out what we need to do and helping others along the way.
That's how we can live each day fulfilled. And we can be contented with that. It's a happiness that's long-lasting.
It's a pill we want to take any time.
