Flourishing Streak

It's important that we grow every day, as our world continues to change every day.

But there's something better we can do to make the most of each day. And it is to flourish.

So what does it mean to flourish?

Flourish --  to grow well or luxuriantly, to develop in a healthy and vigorous way, to blossom

Imagine if this happens in our lives continuously. Wouldn't we want that? It brings joyous life to us. And when we know this, we have the urge to fight for it to keep this one overflowing. When we have this mindset, we're willing to do everything, even struggling through the efforts and difficulties, in order to maintain it.

Every day becomes meaningful. Isn't that beautiful?

But what if you're this?

You're hopeful, but not depressed. You have energy but are not burned out. You're surrounded, but not lonely. It's just that it feels a little bit empty or joyless. It feels like stagnation inside. There seems to be no sight of the future. You feel disinterested and dissatisfied.

We might be into a critical state that may lead us down to a valley of ill-being, and it's dangerous.

It's tough to deal with that kind of spirit. Tough circumstances have brought us to this. At worst, darkness starts to overflow us. But human as we are, we know that this shouldn't hold on for too long. We can only allow the goodness in us to reside for long.

But just two things we need. One, we need healing. No matter how long it may be, we all need to be free from what the darkness has brought us and come into the light. Two, we need a fighting spirit. We need to fight for the light because the world still needs light from all it's been through. We have the power to give light, and we're made to shine our lives with an abundant heart.

We are unique. We can contribute differently to how we can make life flourish. And it all begins with an understanding of fighting to flourish.

Flourishing should come holistically. So, we should start with:

1. Taking care of ourselves
Life can take us on a crazy ride. But despite this, we should be fully functionally okay with ourselves. Get rid of the habits that cause us to lose our focus and motivation. Allow new ones that can keep our bodies in a healthy disposition, which will then ignite and inspire us to live through the day. And when the day ends, slow down. Reflect, evaluate, be grateful, and prepare yourself to face the next day. Then, repeat from the beginning.

It may be hard to start a new habit. But it's alright. Baby steps would do first. Then, we slowly build until it becomes part of us. We keep them going. Let us become disciplined to maintain them. Then, we can be able to create a life that makes us live to the fullest.

2. Transforming from time to time
There are opportunities at every stage of life offered for us to become the best individuals we can be. It's up to us if we want to take them or not. And if we take them, are we willing to go through the process to be able to achieve this outcome?

Because learning something new is an opportunity, and it involves a changed mindset. It is about working on a new way to do things and how we work our minds to it. It may be uncomfortable. But it's worth the effort, and you can get fruit from it. We can be capable of doing so much more and being so much more when we can learn something new every day.

3. Going for the long run
Continue to keep the flow going. Continue to shine through. Even in difficult situations, continue to keep the light bright. Let's allow ourselves to keep our souls alive no matter what the circumstances. We may feel pain and face a lot of struggles, but we can choose to find joy in the midst of them. Optimism at all times inspires and attracts others. We find ourselves in a good disposition, and so does our world. We can continue to maintain the magic that comes with it.

Keep growing and keep going. Wherever we are, whatever we are going through, let's do what we can, and let our work bring out the fruitful harvest in its time. In the work we're doing, let's continue to show up and do what we need to do. And let's continue to walk on the path set before us and make the most of it.

A flourishing life can bring so much to us. It brings us a sense of purpose. Our character and virtue can brighten. We can connect greatly with others. In this way, we can effectively become a conduit of blessing to the world around us.

So, wherever you are, and with whatever you have, make the most of them creating a safe haven for others to know and can run to. For those who have lost it, bring back that spark while there's a chance. It's not easy, but it's worth the effort in battle.

The time is now. The chance is now. Let's put out the magic we can bring and make it into a continuous streak.
