CONNECT-eR

At the end of each day, may our center be able to find us.

Can we still connect with our spirit?
Can we still dwell on our innate goodness?
Is our intangible place, located within our core, consist of the best us possible?

Our center can be so alive and well. In faith, how do we know this? When God's power and presence fill it. Our center is a safe place always available to us, one that offers renewal and refreshment. How much more if God is in the picture?

As we connect with our center, may we intersect with God, the Center of our lives, so that we can have that full link in Him.

It's rightful to say that He's our Center. He's the Source of everything we are. He's our Creator, Owner, Life Author, and Talent Giver. Every blessing we receive comes from Him.

He's our Guide to living the godly life we need to live. We have everything we need from Him to do such. In this, He's our motivation for everything we think, say, and do. We leave Him enough room for that to happen. And it's natural to have that intimate, personal relationship with Him. The end goal is we incarnate His character. And when we do, He gets the glory. After all, He's our Guide to give that direction.

Life's not all there is, and we know we have eternal hope in Him. His presence and grace are with us until we go home. When He leads our lives, we're in good hands. He's faithful to be with us to the end. We can always hold on to Him in anything.

In these fast-paced times, do we still see our center?

Do we still connect to our center?
Is our center still connected to the Source of greater power we can experience?

Do we still come to Him and build that relationship with Him?
Do we still fellowship with Him?
Are our lives still full of power to live the life that Jesus lived? Does that continue to grow in our lives?
Is our faith continuing at a deeper level?

Do we still commit to meeting with fellow brothers and sisters in the faith?
Do we continue to fight the good fight of the faith?
Do we still take this as a calling and stewardship as a Christ-follower?

We have a choice on what we want to do with our lives every day. And do we make that choice? Can our center radiate love, grace, compassion, and truth in a world that needs them the most? It's best to have that center fully powered in Christ so that we can bring that hope around us.

That connection allows us to grow and bear good spiritual fruit. It also leads us to live life and beyond it. It'll be a great joy for us if we can still pray, read Scripture, worship God, involve Him in everything, and fill ourselves with anything that helps us become Christlike. We can still serve, appreciate His masterpieces, and live accordingly in His way. If we feel distant, we can always reconnect. When we focus on that and commit to it, that power can be alive in us again.

It will be a great joy if we can still connect to our center today. So, how do we ensure we can still connect to our center with Christ as our Center?

1. Check the state.
Are there barriers, distractions, burdens, or baggage the center experiences? If so, they need to be settled or overcome. We need to identify everything that hinders that abundant flow in our lives and decide to let go of them. We make needed sacrifices as well. In checking that state, we let God be the Center of our center. We allow Him to work in us to keep that flow. We are sure of the comfort and peace He gives, as they help us carry through anything we go through in life.

2. Work on its health.
It's that commitment, discipline, and focus needed to keep that power alive in us. And since we are a continuous work-in-progress in Christlikeness, it makes sense that we make that intention to draw near to Him. If we train ourselves for this every day, we can truly grow and have a joyful and healthy space for our center. It can reflect inside out. We make an effort to create that habit and keep that consistent.

3. Stay in touch with His will.
God's will is the way to go, whether we like it or not. It can be difficult, but we know He's with us along the way. He sustains us in whatever we encounter along the road. He works in us to be His instrument of love, peace, and grace. And it's fitting that to channel it well, we align ourselves to Him as the Center of our lives and follow His will. We need discernment to ensure we're doing so.

No matter how short or long our life is, may it be our goal to live it to the full. It's the most important thing we can do with our lives. An abundant and joyful life brings that fullness of life. And if our center can have that, that would be great.

A center full of life is full of good things filled for us. It has peace, contentment, joy, love, kindness, and everything that brings out God's virtues. These are the best virtues we can have as they bring out the best in us. It has the drive to make the most of the life given no matter what circumstance. It knows what truly matters, which is to find life in Christ and to live it out. And we can live this every day.

Let our center connect to the Center of our lives to make that center full of life.
