Reform

A renewed mind. A pure heart.
A peaceful spirit. A strong soul.
Can we go for this every day, every time?

How can we have this? What do we need?

We need to rest.
There's always a tomorrow to continue on.
We need to recover so we can have the strength again.

We need to find acceptance.
"There can only be one who is me." That's what we can say to ourselves.
"I have my shortcomings. I know I made my mistakes. But they don't define me."
"I know who I am. I can still come out better."
Once we value this, we can be who we really are around us.

We need to find guidance.
It's fatal to have indecision, even making the wrong decision.
We need wisdom with the decisions we make.
There's no wrong in seeking counsel. We can learn from them, and it's for a lifetime.

We need to find hope.
There will always be hills and valleys in life.
But we need not fear. We need not be discouraged.
The rough times will last for a while. And they can be purposeful.
The strength we can get is the strength we need to face what lies ahead.
It's about having trust, courage, patience, and perseverance to make it through.

We need to have love.
We need to have a love that balances when we relate to others and to ourselves.
We may experience pain, but we shouldn't dwell on it that long. There's still some good we can let in.
Our hearts need to be planted well and taken care of so that they can still see life.
And let's not forget that we are loved. We are beloved. When we can find love rightly, we can be a channel of blessing.

We need to find goodness.
It's a kind of goodness that you can't let go of.
When we look back on all that's happened in our lives, we realize that we're blessed. We have more than enough. We've been loved and cared for from Up Above.
As we still live here, we find what we truly value the most. And when we act on it, we can lead our lives to how we want to end it.

There are things to let go of. There are also things to embrace. But it's how it goes.
It's how we can become our best.

Let's make the most of every day to awaken our senses and truly live. We can shine our light from there.
