Bounty Table

We all want to live abundant lives, don't we? We want the best of what we can have. If fortunate, we can have more than enough. And through this, we can help others as well.

It's great to aim for that. But know that no matter our life standing, we already have an abundance. That abundance is having all that matters most. It's the kind of abundance we can have all-time. Even if we achieve an overflow of what we have, it's still there. And from there, we ensure that we grow strong and healthy in living the true meaning of life every day. That indicates true prosperity.

It's an abundance that comes from God and one He wants for us. In that abundance, we can find hope. We can discover goodness stored for us and have it. We can find comfort and sustenance even in the lowest times we face. He wants us to partake in that abundance. He fights for us in that abundance because we are His creation, His blessing. We're part of His abundance.

All it takes is that decision to grow in Him so that He can grow in us and trust Him to display that abundance He can give in His economy to our lives. And it can be above and beyond what we could ever think.

We also need to note that no matter how much we have, we should always have the right heart. We should have the kind of richness that blesses hundredfold.

Why? Because we have a rich and abundant God who's more than willing to bless us and waste His resources on us extravagantly. Through here, we become His vessels to dispense His riches to those in need of them.

So the question is: Are we full of generosity or greed?

Do we focus on what we have? Or what we don't have?
Do we acknowledge everything we have as ours? Or those we need to steward?
Do we credit what we earn or accomplish to ourselves? Or to the True Creator of these talents, gifts, and opportunities?
Do we give to others because of the favor they returned to us? Or of the knowledge that it's blessed to do so?
Can we give a little or a lot of what we have, knowing that we have a God who doesn't stop providing us with what we need?

So, how do we live in the abundance God wants us so that we can be the blessing the people around us need?

1. Build with a vision.

What is our vision for that abundance? What are our plans to get to that? How do we align them with God's vision so that we can build abundance and wealth in our lives?

Once we know all these, we start the work with what we have. If it's anything material, use it with the best care and with the proper purpose. If it's anything financial, we spend when needed, leave a portion for savings, and give a part for tithing. In everything we steward, allow God to move into them. And when blessing overflows, continue to do the work in that God is honored in them.

2. Keep the cycle going.
The prosperity we have is for a reason and an associated responsibility. We should use it for the better of everyone. Through that, we can be the blessing someone needs. It's how the blessing cycle works. We receive and then give it to continue generating.

When we understand this flow, we can see that we can't outgive God. With a heart from Him that willingly opens and gives, what more can we have? As long as you continue on the path, the blessing continues to impact others on and on and on.

3. Live in love, goodness, and grace.
Be assured that whatever happens, we have a God of unwavering, steadfast love. He's a God of all-sufficient, undeserving grace. He's a God of abundant goodness. When we cling to Him, we know we can continue living abundantly. We can find ourselves in that same abundance from then to now and to what's ahead.

Let's be a model of living out a life that shows this continuing abundance. Recognize Him always in every accomplishment. Acknowledge Him as the source of every blessing. Be grounded every step of the way. Show a virtue that radiates this overwhelming bounty.

4. Maintain the mindset.
When we have the abundance mindset, we believe there's enough for everyone. We know how to recognize possibilities, create win-win situations, and be grateful in all circumstances, with no room for envy. We seek to be surrounded by people having the same mindset. We build beyond a growth mindset.

Let's train ourselves to have that. And we can live a whole and satisfying life with what we have. Our life endeavors and successful outcomes can bring genuine value to us.

When we can faithfully do these, we can be reliable with what eternity has in store for us - treasures that last long. It shows that how we manage the small things determines how we handle the big ones. So we should take stewardship seriously.

By doing this, we understand that everything we have belongs to God, and He entrusts us to them. They're not our own. And using them lies in how He intends it. And with that, we make a mark of our stewardship, which is of wisdom, prudence, and selfless service.

May we all be abundant and channel to bring that abundance to others.
